App user guide

This app is used to coordinate volunteering and dog walking for Asoka Orihuela. Below we explain step by step what each person can do.

Part 1: For volunteers (normal use)

If you are a volunteer and already have an account, you can do the following.

Logging in

Use the same phone number as in the WhatsApp group. The first time you will be asked for your name, language and a 4–6 digit PIN (keep it for future logins). If you already have an account, just enter your number and PIN. If your account is «pending approval», an administrator must approve you before you can use the app.

Home – Walking schedule

On the Walks page you see a vertical list of the next 14 days and who has signed up to walk. To sign up: choose the day from the list, tap «Join», fill in the approximate time and who you are coming with if you like, and save. You can cancel your slot at any time with «Cancel slot».

Events

In the Events section you see one-off activities (walks, meet-ups, etc.). You can view the list, open each one to see details and attendees, and join with «Join». When signing up you can give your name, say if someone is coming with you and give approximate times. If the event is full, you cannot join until a place is free.

Account

Under Account you can change your name (how you want to appear in the app), see your phone number and log out if you are using someone else’s device or want to leave the app on this device.
